Job Description: Performance Management Lead (HR)

Location: Remote (USA) – Must work EST hours
Client Location: Summit, NJ
Duration: April – December (Part-Time → Full-Time Ramp)

Work Schedule

April – July: ~20 hours/week

July – December: ~40 hours/week (may vary based on workload)

Must overlap with Eastern Time (EST) business hours

Job Overview

We are seeking a Performance Management Lead to design and execute enterprise-wide performance management processes, including the Year-End Performance Cycle. This role will partner with HR Business Partners, People Leaders, and cross-functional teams to ensure effective planning, communication, and execution of performance initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end performance management process design and execution
  • Drive Year-End performance cycle, including timelines, frameworks, and governance
  • Partner with HR Business Partners (HRBP) and leadership teams
  • Develop communication plans, training materials, and guidance documents
  • Ensure smooth stakeholder engagement and issue resolution
  • Manage project timelines, deliverables, and reporting
  • Support adoption of performance processes across the organization
  • Utilize Workday (or other HRIS systems) for performance tracking and reporting

Required Skills

  • 5+ years of experience in Performance Management / HR Programs
  • Strong experience working with HR Business Partners (HRBP)
  • Expertise in performance management frameworks and cycles
  • Strong project management and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management
  • High attention to detail and problem-solving ability
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Workday (preferred) or other HR systems
  • Background in large enterprise HR processes
  • Experience creating training content and communications

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related field
