Duties & Responsibilities:
Join Viavi Solutions as a Software Quality Assurance Engineer supporting the development of cutting-edge Avionics Test Equipment. You'll work alongside experienced engineers to ensure our software meets the rigorous quality standards demanded by the aerospace industry, using modern tools including AI from day one.
What You'll Do
  • Develop, modify, and execute software test plans, automated scripts, and test programs
  • Write and maintain a significant portion of your test suite using AI-assisted development tools
  • Debug software products through systematic testing to develop, apply, and maintain quality standards for Viavi's avionics test equipment
  • Analyze and document test results to support debugging and software modification
  • Collaborate with development engineers to identify and resolve software defects

Pre-Requisites / Skills / Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science
  • Familiarity with Python and Linux environments
