The Software Sales Account Manager will assist in growing and supporting Hilti Tool Services with a specific focus on ON!Track & Fleet Management with local, regional, and global partners. This role will perform productivity analyses with VIP customers and design optimal solutions to improve customer's business processes. In addition, it will coordinate with local sales team to support to increase sales and penetration of ON!Track & large Fleet Contracts increasing the numbers of Solution Customers as part of our global customer engagement strategy.
What You'll do
  • Focus on business development of Hilti software & services in a defined geographic area among current and prospective customers
  • Analyze sales results, review customer fact base, identify key trades and customer potential to develop tactical sales strategy
  • Collaborate with sales leadership team
  • Building the competence for solution selling in collaboration with the sales leadership team
  • Coordinate efforts of entire team of Account Managers, Regional Managers, Division Managers, and marketing team members with a goal of improving market reach of Hilti software & services
  • Steer pipeline management in sales process in collaboration with the sales team and support the execution of process from lead generation to contract closing
  • With a Consultative approach, will conduct onsite analysis for ON!Track and coordinate Tool Park Analysis, including developing customer-specific optimized solutions

What You'll Bring
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience, required
  • Minimum of three (3) years consultative selling in the construction industry, required
  • Training experience preferred
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work in a cross-functional team environment: Marketing, Sales, and other corporate team members
  • Demonstrated analytical, problem-solving, organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills required
  • Strong knowledge of SAP and Microsoft Office applications
  • High level of entrepreneurship and presentation skills
  • Willingness to travel up to 15% - 20%

Normal office conditions as well as simulated jobsite situations/conditions.
Up to 50% domestic travel, required. Majority of travel will occur in assigned regions.
Adverse Working Conditions:
  • Job requires walking on simulated construction sites and uneven surfaces, and may include climbing scaffolding, ladders, and stairs
  • Simulated construction jobsites may also lead to exposure of excessively loud noises; ear protection is strongly encouraged and may be required on some simulated jobsites
  • High occurrence of sitting, standing, bending while conducted training exercises
Safety Equipment Required:
  • Hardhat, safety vest, safety glasses, gloves, steel toe boots, and long pants required for working jobsites; must observe and abide by any and all safety regulations as required by Hilti and Occupational Safety and Health Regulations (OSHA)
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to walk on construction projects, climb ladders and scaffolding, and able to lift and carry as much as 65 pounds
