Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer / Technical Software Project Manager to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of mobile software releases for innovative medical device products. This role combines technical leadership with project management, requiring hands-on mobile software development experience and the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams throughout the software development lifecycle.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Android development, Agile methodologies, software release management, and medical device software development.


Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of assigned mobile software releases.
  • Translate product requirements into well-defined user stories, sprint backlogs, and execution plans.
  • Manage backlog refinement, sprint planning, release planning, and Agile ceremonies.
  • Collaborate with Product Management, Development, QA, and Test teams to ensure successful software delivery.
  • Apply technical expertise to evaluate software solutions, ensure architectural alignment, and maintain product quality.
  • Track project progress, monitor Agile metrics, and communicate status, risks, and dependencies to stakeholders.
  • Identify project risks, dependencies, and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Review and approve completed development work within the ALM system.
  • Support software quality, regulatory compliance, and software lifecycle processes for medical devices.
  • Drive continuous improvement and promote engineering best practices.
  • Coordinate software releases involving Android applications, cloud services, embedded systems, data analytics, machine learning, and visualization technologies.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor''s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • 8โ€“10 years of experience managing and delivering mobile software applications.
  • Hands-on experience in Android mobile application development.
  • Strong background in technical software project management.
