Job Overview:

The Program Coordinator will be responsible for the coordination and implementation of program activities in Edmonton. They will be responsible for processing applications, liaising with successful applicants, processing payments, and ensuring that project activities are implemented according to schedule. The Program Coordinator will also be responsible for maintaining program documentation and ensuring that key deadlines are met.


Responsibilities:

  • Process applications and liaise with successful applicants.
  • Coordinate project activities with relevant stakeholders
  • Maintain project documentation and ensure that it is up to date.
  • Ensure that key deadlines are met.
  • Implement and track project activities.
  • Provide regular progress reports to the Project Lead
  • Identify and address any project risks and issues.
  • Collaborate with other Project Coordinators to ensure project alignment and consistency.
  • Ensure that all project activities are conducted in accordance with project policies and procedures.


Requirements/ Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in related field, and knowledge of program development
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in project coordination or management, preferably in a non-profit or community-based organization.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software
  • Experience in community development or social work is an advantage.
  • Experience in event management


Requirements

40 hours/week, which may involve some evenings and /or weekends

Valid driver's license and access to a private vehicle
