Summary: • Develop Java-based software capabilities using Spring, RESTful web services, and microservices architectures. • Integrate advanced AI agents and agentic workflows into daily software engineering routines. • Utilize Git, Nexus, and Maven for configuration management within an Agile lifecycle. • Work with Linux, cloud technologies like AWS and Azure, and databases including Elasticsearch and MongoDB. Qualifications & Compensation: • Bachelor's degree in a related field with 5+ years of software engineering experience; OR Master's degree with 3+ years of experience; OR High School Diploma/equivalent with 9+ years of experience. • Total Compensation: $224k+ yearly Job Description: • Design, develop, and implement complex software capabilities for computer-based systems. • Collaborate with other engineers to create software solutions that meet client needs. • Stay up-to-date with emerging trends, technologies, and developments in software development. • Demonstrate strong working knowledge and experience developing Java-based software capabilities. • Possess strong troubleshooting, testing, and problem-solving skills under pressure with multiple deadlines. • Integrate advanced AI agents (e.g., Claude Code, Gemini agentic workflows) into daily software engineering routines. • Use autonomous agents for multi-file feature implementations, complex codebase refactoring, and automated generation of robust unit/integration tests. • Guide AI agents through complex, multi-repository application architectures, managing context efficiently and auditing agent-generated code for security, performance, and architectural alignment. • Work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, both independently and within a team. • Ability to obtain and maintain a Government Security Clearance; active Secret or Top Secret clearance is a plus. • Experience with modern Java frameworks and libraries (e.g., Spring, Guava). • Experience designing enterprise APIs and RESTful web services. • Experience with Microservices architecture and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) paradigms. • Experience with the Agile software lifecycle and standard development tool suites (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, GitHub Enterprise). • Experience with the Linux operating system. • Experience with configuration management tools (e.g., Git, Nexus, Maven). • Experience with cloud-based technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure). • Experience with distributed databases, NoSQL databases, and full-text search engines (e.g., Elasticsearch, MongoDB, Solr). • Scripting experience is a plus. • Prior experience or familiarity with Big Data Platforms or Data Lake architectures.
