A seasoned Custom Software Development leader with 10+ years of experience delivering high-quality, scalable applications across web, mobile, and enterprise platforms.

You bring deep expertise as an SDET, combined with the ability to lead teams, define quality strategy, and drive end-to-end excellence. You are comfortable working in highly collaborative, global environments and are passionate about embedding quality throughout the software development lifecycle.

You are a subject matter expert in QE practices, modern automation frameworks, and AI-enabled testing, and you thrive in environments where you are responsible for delivery outcomes, technical leadership, and continuous improvement.

The work:

You will lead Quality efforts for large-scale, complex application builds-working closely with product, and architecture teams to ensure quality is embedded from design through production. You will define and execute modern testing strategies, leverage AI-enabled approaches, and lead teams to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing applications. You will act as both a technical leader and trusted advisor, shaping solutions, driving adoption of best practices, and ensuring quality outcomes across multiple teams and platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Quality Strategy & Leadership

  • Define and lead end-to-end quality strategies, including early validation and continuous testing

Custom Software Development & SDET Leadership:

  • Lead design, development, and enhancement of applications and validation components
  • Ensure scalability, maintainability, and performance across systems
  • Design and implement automation frameworks (UI, API, mobile) using tools such as Playwright, Appium, and REST Assured
  • Integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines

AI-Enabled Testing & Innovation

  • Apply GenAI tools to improve test design, code generation, debugging, and root cause analysis

DevSecOps & CI/CD Integration

  • Embed automated testing into delivery pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps)

Cross-Platform Quality Delivery

  • Lead testing across web, mobile (iOS/Android), and API layers

Client Engagement & Advisory

  • Partner with stakeholders to define quality strategies and support transformation initiatives

Team Leadership & Delivery Accountability

  • Lead and mentor global teams
  • Own delivery outcomes and guide technical decisions

Cross-Team Collaboration

  • Drive alignment across product, development, and architecture teams

Continuous Improvement

  • Improve test coverage, automation maturity, and delivery efficiency

Reporting & Insights

  • Deliver dashboards and insights to support data-driven decisions

What you'll need

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, or related discipline
  • Minimum of 10+ years of experiencein Test Automation, SDET, or software development roles
  • Strong experience in custom application development and modern Software Development practices
  • Proven experience leading QE teams and managing delivery outcomesacross complex programs
  • Strong coding experience (TypeScript, JavaScript, Java, or similar) with hands-on experience building automation frameworks
  • Experience designing and implementing test automation frameworks(Playwright, Appium, Selenium, REST Assured)
  • Proven experience integrating testing into DevSecOps pipelines(CI/CD, version control, artifact management)
  • Experience working in SAFe Agile or scaled Agile environments
  • Experience applying GenAI tools(e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini) or working with AI-enabled testing approaches
  • Strong experience in test strategy, test data management, mocking, and observability
  • Proven ability to lead client engagements, facilitate workshops, and deliver solutions in ambiguous environments
  • Ability to design and deliver scalable solutions across multiple teams and enterprise systems
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills
  • Experience leading large-scale QE transformations or digital testing programs
  • Experience in compliance-heavy or regulated industries(e.g., financial services, public sector, healthcare)
  • Strong understanding of GenAI in SDLC, including prompts and AI-augmented testing
  • Experience with contract testing, test data management, and advanced observability frameworks
  • Background in cross-platform application testing (web + mobile)
  • English is required for this position as this role will be aligned to multi-national teams where English is the common language across our North America Market.
