Project Manager
Location: Harrisburg, PA - Hybrid/Remote (occasional onsite work required as needed)
Schedule: Part-Time (32 hours/week)
Duration: 4–6 months
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager (PMP) to lead the implementation of a Next Generation Learning Management System (LMS). This is a client-facing role requiring strong communication, organization, and leadership skills. The Project Manager will be responsible for managing all phases of the implementation, maintaining project schedules, coordinating with stakeholders, and ensuring successful project delivery.
The ideal candidate is comfortable working directly with executive-level clients, has experience managing enterprise software implementations, and is proficient with Microsoft Project for schedule development and project tracking.
Responsibilities
  • Lead the planning, execution, and successful implementation of the Next Generation LMS project.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Microsoft Project, incorporating input from project stakeholders.
  • Manage project scope, timelines, risks, issues, and change requests throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Track and communicate project status, outstanding issues, software releases, and future system enhancements.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact between the client and the implementation team.
  • Facilitate regular project meetings, including weekly status meetings and quarterly business reviews.
  • Prepare meeting agendas and provide updates on:
  • Project status
  • Performance metrics
  • Technical issues
  • Resource and personnel updates
  • Contract-related items
  • Outstanding action items
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project milestones are met.
  • Provide industry best practices and strategic guidance throughout the implementation.
  • Build strong relationships with client stakeholders and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
Required Qualifications
  • Minimum 3 years of Project Management experience leading projects of similar size and complexity.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is required.
  • Experience managing enterprise software implementation projects.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Project for schedule creation and management.
  • Excellent client-facing, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and leadership abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Agile Scrum and hybrid project management methodologies.
  • Experience implementing Learning Management Systems (LMS) or other enterprise SaaS platforms.
  • Strong facilitation and presentation skills.
  • Experience working with public sector or government clients.
