Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, implement, andmaintain the Contractor Quality Control (CQC) Plan.
  • Ensure all constructionactivities comply with project specifications, contract documents, andfederal standards.
  • Coordinate quality controlinspections, testing, and documentation.
  • Conduct preparatory, initial,and follow-up inspections for definable features of work.
  • Maintain quality controldocumentation including daily QC reports and inspection records.
  • Coordinate with projectmanagers, engineers, inspectors, and contractors to resolve qualityissues.

Design and Technical Oversight:
  • Review construction drawings,specifications, and technical submittals for compliance.
  • Verify materials, installationmethods, and workmanship meet contract requirements.
  • Ensure proper review andapproval of contractor submittals prior to construction.
  • Identify technical issues andcoordinate resolution with project leadership.

Construction and Quality Assurance
  • Oversee inspection and testingactivities for civil works construction including earthwork, concrete,structural systems, and utilities.
  • Monitor contractor qualitycontrol operations and verify compliance with the approved CQC plan.
  • Review laboratory testingreports, inspection documentation, and construction quality records.
  • Track deficiencies and ensurecorrective actions are implemented.

Project and Field Support
  • Serve as the primary point ofcontact for quality control matters on assigned projects.
  • Participate in projectmeetings, technical discussions, and construction coordination meetings.
  • Support project documentation,reporting, and compliance monitoring.
  • Coordinate with USACE ResidentOffices and project stakeholders.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in CivilEngineering, Construction Management, or related technical disciplinepreferred.
  • Minimum 7 years of constructionquality control or construction management experience.
  • Experience implementing qualitycontrol programs for infrastructure or construction projects.
  • Strong knowledge ofconstruction specifications, inspection procedures, and qualitydocumentation.
  • Ability to work in fieldenvironments and travel to project sites throughout Florida.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting U.S. ArmyCorps of Engineers (USACE) construction projects.
  • Completion of USACEConstruction Quality Management (CQM) for Contractors training.
  • Professional Engineer (PE)license or related professional certification.
  • Experience with ResidentManagement System (RMS) or federal construction management systems.
  • Experience with civil works,flood control infrastructure, reservoirs, or military construction.
