Project Manager - Full Time, Permanent, Hybrid, Itasca, IL

No offense, but the words "Project Manager" and "entrepreneurial" are rarely mentioned in the same sentence. PM's are commonly found in larger environments where structure and process rule...and their mission is often to deliver projects using proven practices and standards - it all makes perfect sense.

What you have found here is something quite different and unique, yet requires the talents of a PMP-certified type Project Manager. Here's why this makes sense:

  • The Company: Established yet growing provider of a SaaS product used by municipalities (large and small) to protect the community while generating significant revenue
  • The Product: Each time it's purchased, a series of internal customizations, external regulations, permits, and stakeholder sign-offs must be orchestrated.
  • The Challenge: When there are delays in any of these processes, it's not typically because someone is on vacation - it's because someone was busy saving a life.

In short, this Project Manager will own this implementation process from start to finish, using their traditional PM skills, tools, and mindset to ensure delivery while using their refined EQ to navigate the unique (and real-life) challenges along the way.

Required experience includes previous project management experience for technical projects or products. PMP certification is highly desired - it shows your dedication to project delivery along with the raw power of your brain.
