The compensation for this role will be competitive and is aligned with industry standards, taking into consideration factors such as experience, education, and geographic location. The base salary range for this position is $262,000 to $426,000 (USD), exclusive of any discretionary bonuses and benefits. JOB DESCRIPTION MissionEdge Technologies is seeking an experienced Software Developer to join our technology-based program supporting a key Government customer. Minimum Required Qualifications: * Due to the nature of this position and the information that employees will be required to access; U.S. Citizenship is required.
* Prior to interview a Letter of Intent must be signed.
* Active TS/SCI w/ polygraph
* A Bachelor's or Master's degrees are preferred with a minimum of eleven (11) year's relevant experience with the following skillsets:
* Must have 5-7 years programming experience in Java
* Experience with computer networking, network automation
* Experience operating in a CI/CD/DevOps/Agile environment
* Enterprise software requirements specification and management
* Software Integration, defect management, and remediation
* Software maintenance, and enhancements to existing systems and platforms
* Must be a self-starter that can lead complex projects
* Ability to serve as part of a software development team to deliver automated solutions for standard network services support of a large IT infrastructure project Desired/Preferred Skills: * Hands on experience using Ruby on Rails
* Knowledge and experience with Infrastructure as Code (IoC)
* Cloud design for software, implementation, and configuration
* Security Development Operations (SecDevOps)
* Experience with test-driven development and automated testing frameworks Working Conditions: Work is typically based in a busy office environment and subject to frequent interruptions. Business work hours are normally set from Monday through Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm, however some extended or weekend hours may be required. Additional details on the precise hours will be informed to the candidate from the Program Manager/Hiring Manager. Employees are required to notify management in advance of any plans to relocate out of state to ensure compliance with company policies and applicable employment regulations. Physical Requirements: May be required to lift and carry items weighting up to 25 lbs. Requires intermittent standing, walking, sitting, squatting, stretching and bending throughout the workday.
