Job Summary:
Spotify is a leading audio platform focused on building tools for creators within its Podcast Vertical. The Full Stack Engineer role involves designing and maintaining scalable backend services, enhancing user-facing layers, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve creator experiences on Spotify.
Responsibilities:
• Design, build and maintain scalable backend services (Java)
• Be an active part of creating and evolving APIs and services that connect user experiences with internal scalable infrastructure, while applying product requirements
• Drive improvements to system architecture, performance, and developer experience
• Develop and enhance our user-facing layer and frontend SDKs (React/Typescript)
• Collaborate closely with a talented group of engineers, product managers, designers and data specialists across multiple teams
• Contribute to technical discussions and help shape platform decisions

Required:
• Experience in designing and developing backend applications in Java.
• Solid understanding of React and TypeScript.
