The Senior Software Engineer (Full-stack) is a key technical and leadership role within the Engineering team at Steel Ridge Partners. This position is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality, scalable web applications that support innovation in the Legal Financial Services sector.

The engineer collaborates across disciplines to ensure software solutions are well-architected, maintainable, and aligned with client and business goals. Success in this role is defined by technical excellence, problem-solving ability, and collaboration — delivering reliable, maintainable solutions that demonstrate long-term thinking, ownership, and impact across teams and projects.

Responsibilities
  • Design, architect, and implement full-stack web applications with a focus on quality, scalability, and maintainability
  • Anticipate technical debt, growth, and business needs when making architectural or design decisions
  • Lead by example in coding standards, testing, and documentation practices
  • Solve complex or ambiguous problems by applying deep technical expertise and creativity beyond standard patterns
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (product, design, client services) to ensure engineering work aligns with overall business objectives

  • Strong proficiency in C#, .NET, and relational database design
  • Expertise in designing REST APIs and applying software design principles for scalability and reliability
  • Demonstrated ability to decompose complex technical challenges and choose effective approaches for new or unfamiliar work
  • Experience mentoring others and guiding technical decisions within a collaborative team setting
  • Strong understanding of DevOps principles including CI/CD, automated testing, and version control using Git
  • Ability to balance technical precision with business practicality in a consulting environment

  • Advanced familiarity with AI-assisted development tools
