Our team has built longstanding relationships with developers, municipalities, public agencies, and community partners throughout the region. We are seeking a licensed Professional Engineer to serve as a Project Manager within our Site Development team. This individual can be based out of our Nashville or Franklin office. This position will lead project design, client communication, permitting, and overall project management for a wide range of commercial development projects. The Project Manager will collaborate closely with our in-house civil engineers, landscape architects, land planners, transportation professionals, and surveyors to deliver thoughtful, high-quality solutions for public, private, and mixed-use developments. This role is responsible for guiding projects from initial concept through final design and construction support while balancing client expectations, technical quality, budget, and schedule.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and actively participate in the design, plan production and permitting for land development projects.

  • Lead and mentor a group of technical professionals - engineers and technical support- to serve our clients well

  • Engage in the proposal and client agreement development and execution

  • Develop trusting professional relationships with clients, public agency officials and community leaders

  • Be respectful of client time-lines through effective coordination of project tasks, budgets and schedules

  • Champion the professional development of each member of a project team according to each member's individual goals and career path

  • Seek guidance from other leaders; be open to suggestions in various aspects of project management

  • Actively participate in professional associations and civic organizations

  • Additional related duties as needed

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.

  • Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.).

  • 5+ years of experience in site design, planning, and project management

  • Extensiveknowledge of design and construction practices which, by passing on that knowledge to others will aid in your success

  • Proven ability to effectively and respectfully communicate, both oral and written skills, with all level of employees

  • There may be times when working overtime is necessary
