Do you thrive in providing direction and oversight for complex land development projects, including large-scale residential, industrial, and commercial developments? If so, we have an exciting leadership opportunity for you!

Your work environment at EXP

As the Land Development Project Manager, you will be the key client contact for assigned land development projects, ensuring seamless execution from conception to completion. Your expertise will help shape Calgary's evolving landscape by collaborating with clients, coordinating multidisciplinary teams, and maintaining project timelines and budgets.

What a day at EXP has in store for you

  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, managing project execution through completion
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships, while identifying new business opportunities
  • Ensure project milestones and deliverables are met in alignment with client expectations
  • Oversee and provide detailed engineering design input for complex projects, guiding and supporting project engineers and design teams
  • Coordinate with various disciplines, including geotechnical, environmental, transportation, and legal teams
  • Liaise with municipal authorities, contractors, and regulatory agencies to secure approvals and permits
  • Ensure project schedules and budgets remain on track, providing regular status updates
  • Lead business development efforts, including writing and pricing proposals to secure new projects and clients
  • Provide mentorship and leadership to design and field staff, ensuring high-quality work and collaboration
  • Uphold health and safety policies across all project sites, reporting concerns to management and the Joint Health and Safety Committee

What your experience looks like

  • 5 to 10 years of experience in land development, with a strong focus on residential, industrial, and commercial projects
  • Professional Engineer (P.Eng) or Technologist designation (or eligibility for registration)
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail, organization, and ability to work under pressure with tact
  • A valid driver's license and access to a vehicle
  • Proven ability to work independently and as part of a project team
  • Strong multitasking skills with a commitment to meeting deadlines
  • Customer service orientation with a focus on client satisfaction and project success
