Manager II, Software DevelopmentPosition Summary

The Manager II, Software Development is responsible for leading software engineering teams in the design, development, testing, and deployment of scalable software solutions. This role combines people leadership, technical oversight, and project execution to ensure high-quality software delivery aligned with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of software engineers, providing coaching, mentoring, and performance management.
  • Oversee the design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance of software applications and services.
  • Collaborate with product managers, architects, and stakeholders to define technical requirements and delivery plans.
  • Drive execution of development roadmaps, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within scope.
  • Promote engineering best practices, including code quality, testing, security, and continuous integration/deployment.
  • Manage team capacity, resource allocation, and prioritization of work.
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
