Experienced Software Development Engineer in Test:

Plans, designs, develops and executes tests for software enhancements and fixes/patches.

Knowledge:

Expertise in full-stack Software Development in Test with focus on end-to-end validations across UI, microservices/APIs, backend mainframe components, including automation strategy and CI/CD integration.

Job Complexity:

Works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors. Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions. Networks with senior internal and external personnel in their own area of expertise.

Supervision:

Works independently on day-to-day tasks with minimal supervision. Receives high-level direction on new initiatives, features or strategic assignments.

Experience/Education:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science and 5+ years of relevant industry experience.

We are looking for experienced Software Engineers in Test to participate in an Agile development environment producing functional software solutions for delivery to our customers. In this role, you should be able to work independently with little supervision while also collaborating with team members. You should have excellent organization and problem-solving skills, and experience in Agile development methodologies. The individual and team goal will be to develop high-quality software that is aligned with user needs and business objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Performing validation and verification testing of both new features and product fixes

  • Developing and executing high-quality software tests in a continuous integration environment

  • Developing, implementing, and maintaining robust test automation pipelines

  • Assessing code coverage and identifying/resolving testing gaps

  • Automating tasks through appropriate tools and scripting

  • Ensuring test pipelines are up to date with latest technologies

  • Collaborating and providing Quality Assurance subject matter expertise in an Agile team environment

  • Coordination with management and internal teams

Requirements

  • Analytical mind with problem-solving aptitude

  • Strong understanding of Security protocols and Mainframe

  • Proficiency with REST API Automation

  • Scripting skills used for test automation- Python, Javascript

  • Proficiency with CI/CD test automation frameworks (Jenkins)

Nice to have

  • Knowledge of JMeter for Stress and Load testing

  • Knowledge of Jenkins groovy scripting for CI/CD

  • Experience with Java

Compensation and Benefits

The annual base salary range for this position is$91,000 - $146,000

This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus in accordance with relevant plan documents, and equity in accordance with equity plan documents and equity award agreements.
