Client Overview:
Our public sector state government healthcare agency client is seeking a Senior Workday Financials Integration Developer to design, develop, test, and deploy complex integrations between their legacy applications and Workday Financials.
This role will work closely with financial analysts, IT teams, and business stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with C#, .NET, REST APIs, Azure, SQL, and Workday integration technologies, along with the ability to provide technical leadership, troubleshoot complex issues, and mentor other developers.
Job Description:
  • Design and implement end-to-end integrations connecting Department of Health applications and systems with Workday Financials.
  • Collaborate with financial analysts, IT teams, and business stakeholders to gather requirements, resolve ambiguity, and develop effective technical solutions.
  • Build, test, deploy, and maintain complex integrations using RESTful APIs, Workday Enterprise Interface Builders (EIBs), and Workday Web Services.
  • Perform data mapping and transformation between proprietary data schemas and Workday object models.
  • Architect scalable, maintainable integration solutions and develop clean, efficient, and testable C# code in accordance with established coding standards.
  • Lead code reviews and provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior and mid-level developers.
  • Troubleshoot complex integration and application issues and optimize solutions for performance, reliability, and scalability.
  • Manage and support CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes using Azure DevOps and Git.
  • Utilize Azure DevOps sprint boards to manage backlogs, sprint planning, and development activities within an Agile environment.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, integration specifications, system documentation, and other project deliverables.
  • Participate in Agile development practices, including Scrum and/or Kanban methodologies.

Skill SetRequirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 7+ years of professional software development experience with:
