Software Development Engineering - Sr Professional II
TITLE: Software Development Engineering - Sr Professional II
EMPLOYER: Fiserv Solutions, LLC
LOCATION: Milwaukee, WI (and various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S. subject to authorization from management)
DUTIES: Design and develop enterprise on-prem solutions. Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle. Coordinate resources, prepare project teams for kickoff, ensure effective completion of project milestones, control project scope and mitigate risks. Manage daily support and maintenance and conduct long-term improvement operations to ensure compatibility with evolving mission requirements. Provide technical leadership for delivery teams creating shared frameworks and services. Develop and establish department standards and procedures. Recommend the most efficient ways to ensure best implementation practices of new or upgraded products. Evaluate and report progress and results. Prepare and produce releases of software components. Help drive process improvements in development and operations as well as interact with customers and executives to offer root cause analysis and explanations of a technical nature.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or a related field and 2 years in any job title involving full stack development experience. Prior experience must include 2 years in the following: Designing, implementing, deploying, and supporting web-based applications and web services; Working in Object Oriented design and development; Programming with Java, J2EE, Multi-threading, MVC Framework, EJB, Spring, Sprint Boot, Hibernate, and Design Patterns; Developing REST and SOAP services; Working with front-end UI technologies including Angular, JSP, JSF, HTML, and JavaScript; Database experience with Oracle, SQL Queries, PL/SQL, and Stored Procedures; and Working with Linux and Unix Commands to analyze and review logs on Linux and Unix Servers.
