What will your typical day look like?

We’re looking for an Engineering Leader to lead Frontier Engineering, Platform Engineering, and the UI/UX function.
This role is responsible for managing engineering execution, platform enablement, design quality, team performance, and delivery outcomes.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on technology leader who can guide architecture, delivery, engineering standards, reusable platform capabilities, AI-assisted development, and user-centered solution design.

Key Responsibilities
• Lead Frontier Engineering, Platform Engineering, and UI/UX capabilities
• Manage, coach, and develop direct reports both onshore and offshore
• Set team priorities, delivery plans, standards, and execution expectations
• Partner with architects, product owners, business stakeholders, and delivery
teams
• Oversee prototypes, proof-of-concepts, accelerators, and production-ready
foundations
• Drive reusable services, frameworks, libraries, templates, and platform capabilities
• Ensure platform solutions are secure, scalable, reliable, reusable, and maintainable
• Provide leadership for UI/UX strategy, design quality, design systems, and interface
• Guide technical design across applications, APIs, integrations, cloud platforms, and
shared services
• Promote CI/CD, DevOps, observability, automated testing, secure development,
and reliability practices
• Embed AI-assisted development, automation, and agentic delivery practices into
engineering workflows
• Manage team capacity, dependencies, risks, escalations, and delivery
commitments
• Improve engineering quality through design reviews, code reviews, standards, and
documentation
• Build a high-performing culture focused on quality, accountability, collaboration,
and outcomes

Frontier Engineering and Platform Engineering accelerate solution delivery through
modern engineering, generative AI, reusable platforms, automation, and delivery standards.
Frontier Engineering focuses on rapidly turning architecture and business requirements
into prototypes, proof-of-concepts, and production ready foundations.
Platform Engineering builds shared services, frameworks, tools, guardrails, and platform
capabilities that help delivery teams build securely, consistently, and at scale.
The UI/UX function ensures solutions are intuitive, accessible, consistent, and aligned to user and business needs.

Required Experience
• 10+ years of experience in software engineering, platform engineering, solution
delivery, or technology leadership
• 5+ years of experience leading engineering or cross-functional delivery teams
• Experience managing direct reports and developing technical talent
• Experience coordinating distributed and offshore development teams
• Strong full-stack development background across frontend, backend, APIs, and
data layers
• Strong experience with .NET, NodeJS, Typescript, SQL, NoSQL, APIs, and cloudnative solutions
• Experience with Azure and enterprise cloud platforms
• Experience delivering production-grade applications, platforms, and shared services
• Strong understanding of system design, microservices, integration patterns, and
event-driven architectures
• Experience establishing engineering standards, reusable patterns, frameworks, and
developer enablement capabilities
• Experience with CI/CD, DevOps, automation, Github Enterprise, release management, and modern development workflows
• Familiarity with observability, monitoring, logging, reliability, and production support practices
• Understanding of secure software development and platform governance
• Experience working with UI/UX leaders, designers, architects, product owners, and business stakeholders
• Experience using AI/GenAI tools to improve development productivity and delivery speed
• Strong leadership, communication, prioritization, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills

The salary range for this position is $104,000 - $215,000, and individuals may be eligible to participate in our bonus program.
