SSU is currently recruiting for a Business Development Associate – Modular Structures to join our team and work in our corporate office in Fayetteville, N.C. This individual must be an energetic self-starter, resourceful, and able to develop a well-defined time management process to accomplish given tasks. Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough market research to inform management's capture decisions and strategic planning.
  • Collaborate in the preparation of comprehensive proposals and quotes for Federal Government clients, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant guidelines.
  • Manage and update the corporate opportunity pipeline using SSU's capture management tool, ensuring efficient administration and providing valuable insights.
  • Contribute to the creation and enhancement of marketing materials, aligning them with SSU's brand identity and messaging strategy.
  • Play a key role in the planning and coordination of trade shows and expos to maximize SSU's visibility and networking opportunities.
  • Support contract administration processes, including documentation and compliance tracking, to facilitate smooth project execution.
  • Develop a deep understanding of SSU's business operations and culture to better align with organizational goals and values.
  • Collaborate in preparing comprehensive responses to data calls and capabilities matrix requirements from Prime Contractors, showcasing SSU's capabilities effectively.
  • Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, engineering, finance, or related field OR a student in good standing progressing towards a Bachelor’s degree.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and concisely.
