Job description

Responsibilities
  • Develop software programs and interfaces between automation products and client software ecosystems, ensuring high-quality integration standards
  • Act as a subject matter expert for the Software Integration team, supporting technical training, mentoring, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Analyse client software requirements and architecture to provide effective technical solutions and recommendations
  • Create software development specifications and functional analysis documentation
  • Support developers with product knowledge, design guidance, technical methodology, and code quality reviews
  • Collaborate with hardware, systems, commissioning, and operational teams to ensure seamless integration
  • Review functional analysis and support quality throughout project development phases
  • Assist with software feature handover to operational teams and provide customer‑site support when required
  • Identify and recommend improvements to software integration processes and department roadmaps
  • Represent company values and contribute positively to a collaborative, innovative culture
Requirements
  • 8+ years of experience in software engineering, software integration, or a similar technical role, ideally within warehouse automation, logistics, fulfilment, or industrial technology
  • Strong understanding of WMS, WCS, and WES software environments, particularly WMS integrations
  • Experience with SQL, JavaScript, NodeJS, and web development technologies
  • Knowledge of Agile development methodologies
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or another relevant technical discipline
  • Experience leading software integration projects from concept through delivery
  • Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, including automated regression testing and unit testing
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present technical information to both technical and non‑technical audiences
  • Confidence in making decisions, managing challenges, and handling difficult conversations with internal and external stakeholders
  • Experience mentoring and supporting other engineers
  • Willingness to travel up to 30% as required
