Job description

Ag Processing Inc (AGP) is looking for an experienced Software Developer II to join our application development team and help us take software development to the next level. This role combines modern full-stack development with emerging AI-enabled development practices, giving you the opportunity to use approved AI capabilities-including an AI agentic harness-to accelerate coding, testing, code review, and delivery.

This is a 100% on-site position. The successful candidate must be local to the area or willing to relocate at their own expense. This position is not eligible for remote work, and we will not consider candidates seeking a fully remote or hybrid opportunity.

You'll use your development expertise and engineering judgment to turn AI-assisted development into high-quality, secure, scalable, and maintainable solutions-while helping the team adopt responsible and effective AI practices.

What You'll Do

  • Develop modern, full-stack solutions using C#, .NET Core, Angular, and SQL.

  • Leverage AI agentic tools and workflows to improve development productivity.

  • Review, validate, test, and refine AI-generated code using sound engineering judgment.

  • Partner with business stakeholders to understand challenges and deliver technology solutions that create real value.

  • Apply modern development practices including TDD, BDD, ATDD, unit testing, and automated testing.

  • Work with Azure DevOps, release pipelines, and automation to improve product delivery.

  • Help champion an agile mindset and share emerging technologies, AI practices, and development knowledge with the team.

  • Contribute to technology strategy and help drive continuous improvement across IT.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or equivalent experience.

  • 5-10 years of software development or related IT experience.

  • Strong experience with C#, .NET Core, Angular, and SQL.

  • Knowledge of modern software architecture, testing methodologies, and DevOps practices.

  • Experience using AI-enabled development tools or agentic coding workflows.

  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

  • A passion for continuous learning and helping others grow.

  • Agriculture or manufacturing industry experience is a plus.
