Job description

The M365 Copilot Advanced Solutions Architect serves as a strategic advisor and technical authority, leading the design, deployment, and integration of Microsoft 365 Copilot and AI driven solutions across the enterprise. As a member of the AI Associate Productivity Tooling Team, this role partners with the AI Enablement Team to drive AI adoption and change enablement by translating business objectives into secure, scalable, and compliant solutions that deliver measurable business value and ROI.


The role is responsible for leading the design, deployment, and ongoing management of Microsoft 365 Copilot capabilities, including Copilot Chat, Copilot Agents, and Copilot Studio, ensuring solutions are secure, scalable, and aligned to enterprise standards. This position partners closely with business and technical stakeholders to drive Copilot adoption, enabling sustained usage, measurable business value, and successful outcomes. Responsibilities include owning tenant-level Copilot configuration such as licensing, security controls, data boundaries, and enterprise integrations, as well as designing and integrating APIs and enterprise systems into AI-enabled workflows. The role leads Copilot adoption programs through readiness assessments and phased rollouts, serves as the primary technical liaison across IT teams and partners, facilitates workshops and architecture reviews focused on responsible AI and governance, strengthens compliance using Microsoft Purview capabilities. 

Role will act as an escalation point for performance and reliability issues, and mentors team members to continuously improve standards, processes, and operational maturity.
While the primary focus remains on M365 Copilot and Power Platform, the expectation is to demonstrate strong expertise in Generative AI, AI Integration, Prompt engineering, Ethical AI, Natural Language Processing (NLP), Machine Learning (ML), Model fine-tuning, AI Observability & monitoring, Large Language models (LLM), Conversational AI and Responsible & Enterprise AI.
 

Partner with development, product management, architecture, information security and infrastructure teams to deliver software and technology products that meet requirements and produce desired business outcomes. Adhere to established architectural principles and associated processes for adopting new technology or integrating with a new third-party solution. Advise product management on technology specific aspects of product roadmap development and recommend adoption of emerging technology appropriate to stated goals. Minimum
- Bachelor's Degree computer science or in another related technical field
- High School Diploma or GED 
- Any experience integrating open source technologies in high volume production environments and strong knowledge of agile methodology
- 5+ years of experience taking a lead role in the successful delivery of complex software and automation systems
- 10+ years of experience in software or infrastructure development domain with emphasis on utilizing design patterns and architectural principles to ensure the timely delivery of quality solutions
- Proven knowledge of technology to support omnichannel experiences
- Demonstrated written, oral and presentation/public speaking communication skills; demonstrated interpersonal skills with an ability to communicate/work effectively with diverse groups of people
- Proven delivery of innovative results in previous roles and strong knowledge of industry trends and industry competition
- Demonstrated capability to build, mentor and maintain an inclusive team-based environment
- Proven knowledge of service-oriented architecture/Cloud
Desired

    Microsoft 365 Copilot implementation experience (readiness, pilots, value measurement), including at least 1 year of hands-on experience deploying and supporting         Copilot Studio Agents in production with Copilot/Graph APIs, Power Platform, and advanced prompt engineering.
    Demonstrated experience leading organizational change management (OCM) or technology transformation initiatives to drive successful enterprise adoption of new platforms and ways of working.
    Strong proficiency with the Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Automate, Power Apps, and Power BI. 
    Deep working knowledge of Microsoft Teams, SharePoint Online, and OneDrive for Business. 
    Experience implementing governance and compliance controls using Microsoft Purview, Data Loss Prevention (DLP), and eDiscovery. 
    Demonstrated commitment to staying current with Microsoft technologies and industry trends to drive continuous innovation.
    Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with technical and non-technical teams.
    Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing challenges.
    Any Microsoft or Technical certifications are a positive and should be noted, especially related to the core technology stack of M365.

- Develop the overall software & deployment architecture of application solutions across teams within a single domain
- Partner with engineering staff to deliver solutions
