| The State of Wisconsin is looking for 10 (ten) Certified Microsoft .NET Web Developer IIIs. ***Candidates must be CURRENT WI residents. No relocation is allowed. *** Position Summary:
This is a position needed for the development and support of critical priority applications in the Divisions of Unemployment Insurance. Project work will include: application design and development, new development and modifications to existing code. Successful candidates will have demonstrated success in designing, creating, and maintaining web services, system integration, web development, and Agile Scrum development methodology. Participates in the testing process through test review and analysis. Certified Microsoft .Net Web Developer III capabilities with 5 or more years of experience in .NET core, relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals, independently performs a variety of complicated tasks, a wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. These 10 needs are part of the new modernization project at DWD. These positions are split into 2 groups, with 5 working in the benefits system and 5 in the tax system.
All candidates submitted with inconsistencies or falsifications in their credentials will be disqualified and DOA Purchasing will be notified. Candidates must be CURRENT WI residents. No relocation is allowed. DWD is currently allowing remote work from within the state of Wisconsin. The contractor must be available online, be present to meet all workload requirements, and must attend all scheduled meetings during DWD standard working hours of 7.45 am 4.30 pm Central Time. DWD can make changes or modifications to this arrangement with a reasonable advance notice. NOTE: DWD prefers that the selected hire resides in the greater Madison area. The contractor must be available to work onsite in DWD Madison WI headquarters GEF-1 location at DWD's request, including consecutive weekdays or extended periods, without reimbursement for travel, lodging, or parking expenses.
