Job Summary

Allvue is seeking a driven and goal-oriented Business Development Representative to join our Sales Team.  Reporting to the Manager of Business Development, this role is the first point of contact our potential customers have with our sales team.  Our Business Development Representatives are responsible for driving revenue growth by generating and qualifying outbound leads.  Business Development Representatives participate in a structured learning and development program, where you will gain invaluable exposure to the worlds of software sales, FinTech, financial software, and the growing and exciting financial technology industry. Our sales-focused advancement program is geared towards ambitious candidates, structured in a way that encourages the growth of sales and business leaders of the future.


Responsibilities
  • Identify and engage potential clients by making initial contact and nurturing leads through Email, Call, LinkedIn, and proactive follow-ups, with the goal of creating a sizeable pipeline of qualified leads.
  • Partner with your Account Executive to co-manage territories, aiming to generate conversations and book meetings with prospects. You’ll receive coaching and mentorship through this partnership to enhance sales techniques and strategies.
  • Effectively track, communicate, and coordinate client interactions.
  • Qualify leads by assessing their needs, budget, and decision-making processes to ensure they align with Allvue’s offerings for more efficient sales conversions.
  • Conduct targeted market research to identify leads and understand industry dynamics, prioritizing self-study to ensure up-to-date knowledge for strategic prospecting.
  • Report to the Manager of Business Development on key KPIs and metrics (weekly/monthly). Conduct Quarterly Business Reviews to present your results and market findings to your relevant Sales Managers and Account Executives.

Requirements
  • A minimum of one year's experience in B2B or solution sales, with a keen interest in financial tech and private markets.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation abilities, both written and verbal, coupled with superior organizational skills and time management.
  • Goal-oriented professional with excellent customer service, ready to excel in a competitive and fast-paced sales environment.
  • A motivated self-starter and multitasker, comfortable with CRM software (e.g. Salesforce and Outreach) and MS Excel, and knowledgeable in sales performance metrics.
  • Strong desire to be in technology sales, and a strong technical aptitude.

Education/Certifications
  • A degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a relevant field is preferred, but not required.

  • The target compensation for this role is specific to the U.S. Your estimated compensation will be based upon a variety of factors, including but not limited to your skills, experience, education, licensures and/or certifications, and the local market.  The estimated range for the role is $64,000 to $68,000 plus a commission package.
