We are seeking an AI and Agentic Transformation Consultant in our growing Consulting & Advisory organization to lead Data and AI Strategy advisory engagements and drive transformational outcomes for our enterprise and SMB clients. As an AI and Agentic Transformation Consultant, you'll serve as a trusted advisor to our clients, helping them navigate complex business challenges and unlock the potential of AI and Data to automate and evolve business processes and operations. You'll perform as an AI Transformation Strategist leading discovery workshops, stakeholder interviews, and executive-level Data & AI strategy sessions.
The ideal candidate brings:
  • Experience in technology consulting
  • Demonstrated experience delivering AI and Data strategy engagements for enterprise clients
  • Expertise with 1 major cloud AI platform and familiarity with 1 other (AWS Bedrock/SageMaker, Azure AI & Copilot, Google Cloud Vertex AI)
  • Experience mapping business workflows and solutioning agentic patterns with appropriate tool & code approach (no-code, low-code, pro-code)
  • Experience solutioning common agentic patterns in enterprise contexts, including intelligent document processing, knowledge retrieval, and workflow automation
  • Strong executive communication and facilitation skills - you're equally comfortable in a boardroom and a whiteboard session
  • Experience building or advising on AI governance frameworks

Our Consulting & Advisory positions will require 50% travel to customer sites and conferences.
What You'll Do:
Strategic Advisory (~35%)
  • Lead executive-level AI strategy sessions, discovery workshops, and stakeholder interviews to assess readiness and define transformation roadmaps
  • Design AI governance frameworks including tiered risk models, responsible AI policies, and governance-as-enabler narratives for enterprise clients
  • Help clients stand up AI Centers of Excellence - operating models, tooling selection, team structures, and change management
  • Translate AI capabilities into measurable business outcomes and build compelling executive business cases for AI investment
  • Contribute to practice development: IP assets, point-of-view papers, playbooks, and go-to-market offerings

Technical Solutioning (~40%)
  • Architect AI and agentic solutions appropriate to the client's context - selecting the right approach across no-code, low-code, and pro-code patterns
  • Design and validate workflow approaches (e.g. Intelligent Document Processing), agent orchestration patterns, tool-use frameworks, and LLM evaluation strategies
  • Assess and advise on data foundations: data lakes, lakehouses, and modern data platforms (Snowflake, Databricks, Fabric, AWS Glue)
  • Serve as a technical SME during pre-sales, supporting scoping, solution design, and proposal development alongside sales teams
  • Evaluate emerging AI and data technologies and contribute to the organization's technical knowledge base

Delivery Leadership (~25%)
  • Manage project workstreams and coordinate cross-functional client and internal teams to ensure quality of consulting deliverables
  • Own engagement health: scope, timeline, risk, and client satisfaction across concurrent projects
  • Represent RapidScale at industry events and conferences as part of the AI and Data practice's market presence

What You Bring:
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree and 6 years' experience in Software Architect/Engineer roles OR a Master's degree and 4 years' experience Software Architect/Engineer roles OR a Ph.D. and 1 years' experience in Software Architect/Engineer roles OR 10 years' experience in Software Architect/Engineer roles.
  • At least 5 years in technology consulting with a mix of strategy and technical delivery experience; Big 4 or equivalent consulting background strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated experience leading AI and Data strategy engagements for enterprise clients from discovery through roadmap delivery
  • Hands-on expertise with at least one major cloud AI platform (AWS Bedrock/SageMaker, Azure AI & Copilot Studio, Google Cloud Vertex AI) and working familiarity with a second
  • Practical knowledge of agentic AI: agent orchestration, tool use, memory management, RAG pipelines, LLM evaluation, and observability of automated workflows
  • Experience mapping business processes and selecting appropriate implementation patterns (no-code, low-code, pro-code) based on client capability and context
  • Strong executive communication and facilitation skills - equally comfortable in a boardroom strategy session and a technical whiteboard
  • Experience building or advising on AI governance frameworks

USD 134,900.00 - 224,900.00 per year
Compensation:
Compensation includes a base salary in the range of $134,900.00 - $224,900.00. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include an incentive program.
Benefits:
The Company offers eligible employees the flexibility to take as much vacation with pay as they deem consistent with their duties, the company's needs, and its obligations; seven paid holidays throughout the calendar year; and up to 160 hours of paid wellness annually for their own wellness or that of family members. Employees are also eligible for additional paid time off in the form of bereavement leave, time off to vote, jury duty leave, volunteer time off, military leave, and parental leave.
