We are seeking a talented individual to join our team at Marsh. This role will be based in New York. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working three days a week in the office.
We are seeking an Applications Developer to oversee the entire life cycle of a software application, creating the design, coding it, and testing the product for functionality and errors, while ensuring that user needs, performance requirements and security standards are met. Developer should also be able to support the application during monthly/quarterly close cycle. As an entry-level individual contributor, an Applications Development Analyst is ready to apply the knowledge acquired via an advanced education and to start to develop professional skills with the help of a manager and more experienced team members.
We will count on you to:
  • Supports and assists senior developers in developing codes, tests and debugs of software programs and enhancements to meet project plan goals.
  • Lead Oracle TRCS enhancement activities across a senior-level portfolio
  • Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities, ensuring timely, accurate system performance and reliable financial reporting output.
  • Drive process optimization, issue resolution, and system enhancements by translating business requirements into scalable Oracle EPM solutions that improve efficiency, controls, and reporting capabilities.
  • Provides technical support to internal clients on existing problems, escalates as appropriate.

What you need to have:
  • Associate or bachelor's degree
  • 5-10 years of experience within tax software preferably TRCS
  • Knowledge in EPM software development being proactive to propose new feature enhancements
  • Experience working with Tax reporting teams to help implement and maintain the tax reporting processes required - including data collection, tax provision calculations and compliant reporting.
  • Strong problem-solving ability, quick learner, and able to troubleshoot technical issues across cloud and on-prem environments.

The applicable base salary range for this role is $97,600 to $195,100.
The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
