Requirement

Position Summary

The Software Engineer will partner in the design, development, enhancement, and support of business applications and systems. This role will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable software solutions that meet user needs and business objectives. Responsibilities include developing new features, improving existing functionality, participating in code reviews, troubleshooting issues, and supporting high-quality software delivery.

This is a hands-on development role within a small agile team supporting a key business unit.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications and system integrations
  • Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code following engineering best practices
  • Collaborate with product owners, QA, and fellow engineers to gather requirements and deliver solutions
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues in a timely manner
  • Participate in code reviews to maintain quality standards and share knowledge
  • Support automated deployments and release processes
  • Create and maintain technical documentation
  • Contribute ideas for continuous improvement across development processes and tools

Required Qualifications

  • 2+ years of professional software development experience
  • 2+ years of Salesforce development experience
  • Hands-on experience with:
    • Apex
    • Lightning Web Components (LWC)
    • Salesforce configuration / administration concepts
  • Strong JavaScript development skills
  • Understanding of APIs, testing, debugging, and modern development principles
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with React and/or Node.js
  • Java development experience
  • Mobile application development exposure
  • Experience with Azure DevOps and/or Jira
  • Cloud experience with AWS, Azure, or similar platforms
  • Salesforce Platform Developer I Certification
