ThePrecision Ag Professionalplays a key role in ensuring effective promotion and support of all Precision Ag products sold and serviced by Parallel Ag. This professional will assist with driving team first culture through coordinating collaborative customer support activities with the Precision Ag team

Essential Functions:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
Responsibilities and duties of the Precision Ag Professional will include the following:

  • Serve as the dealership expert for Parallel Ag precision products while supporting technology adoption across staff and customers
  • Work alongside equipment salespeople by supporting sales, startups, and customer success
  • Develop and grow the precision ag sales territory by expanding precision equipment, upgrades, data management solutions, and supporting marketing and promotional initiatives
  • Represent Parallel Ag at tradeshows, field days, and promotional events
  • Build strong relationships by conducting sales calls, product demonstrations, clinics, and deliver training for both customers and dealership employees on Precision Ag products
  • Support customers by resolving service concerns and coordinating with professional support resources when needed to ensure issues are addressed promptly and to dealership standards
  • Represent Parallel Ag at tradeshows, field days, and promotional events
  • Accurately document customer interactions in the CRM and assist with billing and invoicing coordination
  • Deliver honest, ethical service while resolving customer concerns and supporting overall dealership goals
  • Perform additional duties as needed to support customer service and dealership success

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent required
  • Ability to handle challenging customer interactions professionally while working collaboratively with co workers, vendors, and customers
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, a positive team oriented attitude, and a consistent focus on building effective working relationships
  • Experience with precision ag software and field data systems, with the ability to analyze agronomic data to support data driven field operations
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects effectively in a fast paced environment
  • Experience with precision agriculture technologies, including GPS guidance and precision planting equipment, along with a passion for innovation and advancing sustainable farming practices
  • Ability to work flexible schedule during in season hours, including fielding after hours calls
