Position Overview

Flourish Counsel Connect is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) to join our team in a fully remote, full-time capacity. The successful candidate will play a critical role in providing essential mental health services and social support to individuals and families in need, particularly those facing significant life challenges.

Work Environment

Team members engage in regular meetings and training sessions virtually, promoting continuous learning and development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments of clients' social, emotional, and environmental challenges to inform service planning.
  • Develop personalized service plans with clear goals, interventions, and progress indicators, utilizing evidence-based practices.
  • Provide direct counseling and support to individuals and families experiencing issues such as homelessness, domestic violence, substance abuse, and mental health challenges.
  • Collaborate with clients to ensure they fully understand their service plans and connect them to essential community resources.
  • Offer crisis intervention and risk assessments, developing safety plans as necessary to ensure client well-being.
  • Work in partnership with other community organizations to coordinate services and serve as an advocate for client needs.
  • Engage in outreach activities to educate the community about our available services and promote agency initiatives.
  • Participate actively in team meetings, case conferences, and ongoing professional development sessions.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

  • Exceptional communication skills, cultural competence, and proficiency in problem-solving and critical thinking.
Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
