In this leadership role, you will oversee custodial operations, supervise and support janitorial staff, and help ensure that our customers experience clean, safe, and welcoming environments.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys leading by example, maintaining high-quality standards, and contributing to operational excellence. If you are a hands-on leader committed to teamwork, safety, and customer satisfaction, we invite you to apply and grow with us.
A little about us:
We are SOAR365! Our programs and services have always been designed for individuals and families who are coping with the daily real-world challenges of living with a disability. To that end, we've continually added more ambitious and thoughtful programs over the past 65 years. And today our services have a profound impact on more than 1,300 people and their families.
What You'll Do
As a Janitorial Crew Leader, you'll lead and coordinate the daily activities of a janitorial crew, assign work, monitor performance, conduct quality inspections, train employees, maintain schedules and records, manage supplies and equipment, and ensure all work is completed safely and efficiently. The role also includes performing custodial duties as needed and partnering with management to address operational needs and continuous improvement efforts.
What Success Looks Like
In this role, you'll consistently deliver high-quality cleaning services, maintain safety and compliance standards, support a productive and engaged team, resolve issues proactively, and ensure all work is completed on schedule and to contract requirements.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for a dependable leader with strong communication and interpersonal skills who can motivate others, solve problems effectively, and lead by example. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, customer-focused, and comfortable balancing supervisory responsibilities with hands-on custodial work.
Qualifications
A valid driver's license (Real ID) with an insurable driving record is required, along with basic computer and math skills and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, bend, kneel, and work from a 6-foot ladder. Janitorial experience and prior supervisory experience in a custodial, facilities, or work-crew environment are preferred. A high school diploma or GED is a plus but not required.
To apply for this position, a completed SOAR365 application is required.
