Job description

We are seeking an experienced Snowflake Data Architect to design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance data solutions. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Snowflake, Data Modeling, Azure Data Factory, and Data Mesh architecture, with experience in healthcare or life sciences environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design conceptual, logical, and physical data models for enterprise data platforms.
  • Develop and implement Snowflake architecture, including RAW, CURATED, and GOLD data layers.
  • Design and enforce RBAC, Row-Level Security (RLS), column masking, and data governance policies.
  • Build secure and scalable data solutions using Azure Data Factory, dbt, Azure Key Vault, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
  • Implement Data Mesh principles, including domain ownership, data products, and federated governance.
  • Support HIPAA, PHI/PII compliance, security reviews, and audit requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data architecture standards and CI/CD deployment strategies.
  • Review and optimize data pipelines, performance, and data quality.

Required Skills:

  • 10+ years of experience in Data Architecture, including 3+ years with Snowflake.
  • Strong expertise in Snowflake, dimensional modeling, and Data Vault modeling.
  • Hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory, dbt, Azure Key Vault, and Pulumi.
  • Strong knowledge of Data Mesh architecture and data governance.
  • Experience with RBAC, Row-Level Security (RLS), column masking, and HIPAA/PHI/PII compliance.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • SnowPro Advanced Certification.
