Shifts: In general, we offer 8-, and 12-hour shifts for our CNA positions. We have openings for full-time (30+ hours weekly) and part-time (up to 29 hours weekly) positions.

  • Nights: 10pm- 6:30am

Role:

We are seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team! The Certified Nurse Assistant is responsible to provide direct, hands-on care to residents in a nursing home environment to ensure residents attain or maintain the highest possible physical, mental and emotional well-being possible.

Responsibilities:

  • CNA - Certified Nursing Assistant follows and upholds The Community's philosophy and goal to maintain, improve and/or enhance each resident's quality of care and quality of life.
  • CNA - Certified Nursing Assistant assists residents with activities of daily living as outlined in care plan.
  • CNA - Certified Nursing Assistant completes documentation of resident care as assigned.
  • CNA - Certified Nursing Assistant follows safety policies in performing nursing care, assuring resident safety.
  • CNA - Certified Nursing Assistant follows and upholds policies and procedures of The Community.
  • CNA - Certified Nursing Assistant follows rules outlined in the Community's employee handbook.
  • CNA - Certified Nursing Assistant attends and participates in facility meetings and in-service training programs as assigned.
  • CNA - Certified Nursing Assistant follows infection control guidelines.
  • CNA - Certified Nursing Assistant reports changes in resident's condition immediately to the Charge Nurse
  • CNA - Certified Nursing Assistant observes residents' rights including, but not limited to, privacy, dignity, etc.
  • CNA - Certified Nursing Assistant promotes positive public relations with residents, family members and guests.
Qualifications

Qualifications:

The Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) must have completed an approved training program and passed competency examinations in clinical skills and written knowledge in accordance with statutory requirements for Certified Nurse Assistant.
