  • Partner with Design, Operations, and Quality teams to ensure products are manufacturable, cost-effective, and meet established quality standards.
  • Support new line launches, equipment commissioning, and production ramp-up activities to ensure smooth transitions into manufacturing.
  • Establish and scale SMT manufacturing operations, including line setup, process development, staffing, and overall operational readiness.
  • Develop and maintain standardized processes, detailed work instructions, training programs, and operational procedures for SMT production.
  • Hire, train, mentor, and manage SMT production teams to build strong technical capability and high-performance culture.
  • Conduct Design for Manufacturability (DFM) reviews of PCB assemblies, bills of materials (BOMs), and manufacturing processes to optimize production.
  • Develop and optimize SMT processes, tooling, stencils, fixtures, and validation methods to improve quality, yield, and efficiency.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on quality enhancement, yield improvement, efficiency gains, and defect reduction.
  • Lead new product introductions and manage the transition of products from development into full production.
  • Oversee SMT equipment programming, setup, validation, maintenance, and calibration programs to ensure reliable operation.
  • Troubleshoot manufacturing and equipment issues using structured root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions.
  • Support production scalability through capacity planning, line balancing, and operational planning to meet run-rate and productivity targets.
  • Ensure compliance with quality, traceability, regulatory, and audit requirements across SMT manufacturing operations.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date technical documentation for processes, equipment, and validation activities.
  • Coordinate with equipment vendors for implementation, optimization, and ongoing technical support of SMT machinery and tools.
  • Present technical updates, findings, and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
