We pride ourselves on delivering warm and welcoming visits to every guest who walks through our doors. As part of the FS Food Group, we are dedicated to providing authentic barbecue and exceptional Southern hospitality.

The Midwood Smokehouse - Smoky Hollow District team are seeking dynamic servers to join our high-volume, scratch kitchen and help us maintain our reputation as one of best BBQ restaurants for years to come.

Server Responsibilities Include:

  • Make all of our guests feel comfortable and let them know you’re there to personally take care of them.
  • Build relationships with regulars, remembering their names, preferences, and needs.
  • Make genuine recommendations that you feel your guests will enjoy.
  • Take food and beverage orders accurately and enter them into the POS system (Toast POS experience is a plus!)
  • Maintain a clean and welcoming restaurant environment.
  • Communicate regularly with your tables, anticipate their needs, and provide exceptional service by refilling drinks, clearing tables, and exceeding guest expectations.
  • Be available to fill in as needed to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant.

We Are Looking for a Server who:

  • Knows how to give great service and make guests feel special.
  • Has at least 2 years of experience in a high-volume restaurant.
  • Can stand for long periods of time and lift at least 25 pounds.
  • Has the flexibility to work weekends and some holidays.
