Smith Personnel is seeking a Machine Operator for a leading automotive parts distributor dedicated to providing high-quality replacement parts, components, and systems for vehicle repair and maintenance in Kettering, OH 45429

Position Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will operate, monitor, and maintain industrial machinery to ensure efficient production and high-quality output. The ideal candidate is safety-conscious, mechanically inclined, and able to thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and monitor manufacturing equipment, including lathes, mills, presses, and other machinery.
  • Ensure production goals and quality standards are consistently met.
  • Perform routine equipment inspections, maintenance, and cleaning.
  • Troubleshoot machine issues and report equipment malfunctions promptly.
  • Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain accurate production and maintenance records as required.
