Schedule
  • Monday – Friday
  • 1st Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
  • Overtime may be required based on production needs.

Job Summary
Smith Personnel Solutions is currently hiring an experienced Blow Molding Technician for a manufacturing facility in the DFW area. This position is responsible for operating, troubleshooting, and maintaining blow molding equipment used in the production of plastic products. The ideal candidate will have experience with machine setup, mold changes, preventive maintenance, quality inspections, and maintaining production efficiency while following all safety standards.

Responsibilities
  • Set up, operate, and monitor blow molding machines.
  • Perform mold changes and machine start-ups.
  • Troubleshoot equipment and make machine adjustments as needed.
  • Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.
  • Monitor production output and maintain production goals.
  • Perform preventive maintenance and basic machine repairs.
  • Complete production and quality documentation accurately.
  • Follow all safety policies, GMPs, and standard operating procedures.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Load raw materials and assist with material changes.
  • Work with the production team to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
Requirements
  • Previous blow molding experience preferred.
  • Mechanical aptitude with troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience with mold changes and machine setup.
  • Ability to use measuring tools such as calipers and gauges.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to stand, bend, and work in a manufacturing environment throughout the shift.
  • Reliable attendance and dependable work ethic.
  • Must be able to work overtime when needed.
