Job description

Smith Personnel is hiring a Pallet Jack Operator / Material Handler with experience operating manual and electric walk-behind pallet jacks. This role supports daily warehouse operations including shipping, receiving, and order fulfillment.


Responsibilities

  • Pick, pack, wrap, and label orders
  • Load and unload trucks (up to 50 lbs)
  • Stage products for shipment
  • Shipping & receiving duties
  • Maintain a clean and organized warehouse
  • Operate pallet jacks and bailer safely
  • Report damaged goods or equipment
  • Communicate effectively with team members
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • 1+ year experience operating electric & manual pallet jacks
  • 1+ year warehouse experience
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs consistently
  • Basic math skills required
  • Basic computer skills preferred
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Reliable transportation required

Schedule

  • Monday – Thursday
  • 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM (40 hours/week)
  • Fridays off
  • Overtime as needed
