Join Mercy Fort Smith’s Med Surg Service Line, a dynamic department made up of 8 specialty units that care for patients preparing for or recovering from a wide range of medical and surgical interventions. With a dedicated “home unit” and opportunities for cross‑training across specialties, our nurses build a strong clinical foundation while gaining exposure to diverse patient conditions, procedures, and comorbidities. Whether you're a new graduate ready to launch your nursing career or an experienced RN seeking variety in your daily work, Med Surg is the place to grow. Position Details:

SIGN ON BONUS AVAILABLE

10,000 Sign On Bonus for full-time RNs

with at least 1 year of experience

NO CONTRACT

Oncology 5500 Unit Details:

  • Beds: 23

  • Nurse-to-Patient Ratio: 6:1

  • Patient Population: Cancer, Blood disorders, and diabetic patients.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Associate degree, Diploma, or BSN).

  • Licensure: Current RN license in the hiring state and/or compact licensure; must meet state board requirements.

  • Certifications: American Heart Association BLS and ACLS required or obtained within 90 days of hire.
