Join a newly established Rapid Care clinic at United Hospital Center in North Central West Virginia where you can have a significant impact on the lives of your patients while enjoying the benefits of living in one of West Virginia's top-ranked communities.
WVU Health System Medical Group (SMG) is expanding our access to minor emergent care with the opening of an urgent care clinic on the hospital campus. This clinic will run 7 days a week with a physician and APP model.
Duties: Successful candidates will diagnose and treat patients in an outpatient urgent care setting.
Qualifications: Successful candidates must have an MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent and be eligible to obtain a state medical license. Applicants must have completed an accredited residency in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine or Medicine/Pediatrics. Applicants must be board certified or eligible in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine or both Internal Medicine and Pediatrics. All qualifications must be met at the time of appointment.
