Job Summary:
Red Bison is a leading provider of building networks and smart technologies that enhance building performance. They are seeking a motivated Network Engineer-I to assist in implementing and maintaining networking systems, monitor network performance, and collaborate with senior engineers on network deployments.
Responsibilities:
• Assist in the implementation and maintenance of networking systems.
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues such as outages or slowdowns.
• Work with customers to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve service-related issues
• Configure and install various network devices and services (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls).
• Collaborate with senior engineers on network deployments and optimization projects.
• Perform regular security monitoring to identify any possible intrusions.
• Support and administer third-party applications and services.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all implemented networks.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Solid understanding of networking protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
• Familiarity with network monitoring tools.
• Hands-on experience with network devices and equipment (e.g., Fortinet, Ruckus, Cisco, Juniper).
• Industry certifications such as CCNA, NSE4, Network+, or equivalent.
• Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
