Job description

  • Drive a shuttle vehicle on fixed routes, on-demand, and paratransit service.
  • Performs daily vehicle inspections in accordance with requirements.
  • Drives charter routes as required.
  • Serves as an informational source to passengers.
  • Documents any maintenance issues.
  • Assists with event parking when required.
  • Performs other duties as may be required.
  • One year of experience driving any type of vehicle.
  • Valid CDL with the appropriate class and endorsement codes.
  • Driving record with no more than five (5) points.
  • CDL and non-CDL drivers will be subjected to drug and alcohol education and testing as required by the Federal Highway Administration, State of Maryland, and Towson University.

Preferred

  • Experience driving fixed routes and driving a small bus/mobility bus preferred.
