Aspire Senior Living Webb City is seeking a compassionate and skilled Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in Webby City, MO. In this role, the Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) will provide speech-language therapy services to residents with communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders.

As a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) at Aspire Senior Living Webb City, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents. Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) will evaluate and assess residents' speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing abilities, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans based on their needs. Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to provide therapeutic interventions to enhance communication and swallowing functions, and educate residents, families, and staff on therapy techniques and strategies.

Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and assess residents' speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing abilities
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on residents' needs
• Provide therapeutic interventions to enhance communication and swallowing functions
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, nurses, and occupational and physical therapists
• Educate residents, families, and staff on therapy techniques and strategies
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and facility regulations

Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Qualifications:

• Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology (SLP)
• Active Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) license in Missouri
• Experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or geriatric care is preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of an interdisciplinary team
