As a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) at Coronado Ridge Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, you will play a crucial role in helping our residents achieve their communication goals. Our experienced SNF healthcare provider is committed to delivering exceptional care and rehabilitative services to individuals with complex needs.
About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SLP to join our interdisciplinary team. As an SLP, you will assess, diagnose, and treat residents with a range of communication disorders, including speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing impairments. You will develop and implement individualized treatment plans, conduct therapy sessions, and collaborate with our rehabilitation team to ensure our residents receive comprehensive care.
Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify communication disorders and develop treatment plans to address resident needs
  • Provide individual and group therapy sessions to residents, including speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing therapy
  • Collaborate with our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Monitor resident progress and make adjustments to treatment plans as needed
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of assessments, treatment plans, and resident progress
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to improve patient outcomes

Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
  • Clinical fellowship (CF) or equivalent experience
  • Current certification in speech-language pathology (CCC-SLP)
