Job description

Our Opening and Your Responsibilities
The Service Operations Manager leads the entire Field Service unit, including Field Service Technicians and the Service Back Office, and oversees the department's day-to-day operations to ensure customer needs are met and service goals are achieved. The ideal candidate has a strong background in Service management/back-office operations, excellent communication skills, and a customer-focused mindset.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Oversee all aspects of the service department, including scheduling, staffing, and resource allocation.
  • Manage and develop a team of Service Team Leaders to ensure high levels of performance and customer satisfaction.
  • Implement the Service strategy to improve service quality and efficiency.
  • Ensure that all service activities are performed in compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Monitor and analyze service metrics to identify and address areas for improvement.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key customers to ensure customer satisfaction and long-term loyalty.
  • Manage the Service budget, including Field Service PEX.
  • Collaborate with Global Service other departments to ensure effective communication and coordination of service activities.
  • Maintain documentation and procedures related to service operations.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and standards.


What You Need to Succeed
  • Minimum Bachelor's degree in Engineering or other technical faculty
  • Czech/ Slovak language proficiency: level C (native speaker)
  • Minimum English language proficiency: level B2
  • 8+ years of experience in service management, preferably in a technical/ engineering environment
  • Proven ability to manage and develop a team of service technicians
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Customer-focused mindset
  • Proficient in Microsoft tools environment 
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations and standards
