About Us

We deliver secure, high-quality language access in more than 80 spoken and signed languages for USCIS and other federal agencies.
We are seeking Kazakh Over-the-Phone Interpreters (OPI) to support our USCIS contract. Kazakh, a Turkic language spoken primarily in Kazakhstan and among Central Asian diaspora communities, is a rare but strategic language often needed in asylum and immigration cases.
Responsibilities
  • Provide real-time Kazakh ↔ English telephonic interpretation for USCIS interviews, hearings, and official proceedings.
  • Deliver interpretation with accuracy, impartiality, and professionalism in immigration and legal contexts.
  • Adhere to USCIS/DHS interpreter standards and confidentiality rules.
  • Handle both scheduled assignments and urgent/surge requests.
  • Participate in training, compliance refreshers, and quality assurance audits.
Qualifications
  • Native or near-native fluency in Kazakh and English.
  • 2+ years of professional interpreting experience (immigration, legal, community, or government preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of interpreter ethics, confidentiality, and cultural awareness.
  • Excellent communication skills; ability to remain accurate under pressure.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen or permanent resident eligible for Tier 3/Tier 5 clearance.
