About the role

Due to increased demand for localized content in the APAC region, Pixelogic is looking for experienced Kazakh subtitling translators and QCer to establish a professional, high-performing collaboration as part of our language services department with the end goal of servicing our clients’ end-to-end projects.

The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, possess a flexible attitude, and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment. In addition, they must be able to work as part of a team that deals with changing priorities and workloads.

Due to the sensitive nature of the delivery schedule, time flexibility is of paramount importance.

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for the creation and QC review of SDH subtitle files using Pixelogic proprietary cloud based subtitling software
  • Leverage in-house glossary tool for consistency across products as well as follow client style guide specifications
  • Handle rejections/make corrections in files
  • Remain current with industry trends, and adapt to evolving client requirements
  • Maintain the confidentiality of sensitive content.
Requirements
  • Native speaker of Kazakh with a strong command of English
  • Familiarity with additional languages is a valuable plus
  • At least 2 years of experience in subtitling translation and/or proofreading is essential
  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
  • Proven track record of meeting tight deadlines with flexibility in working hours
  • Skilled at adhering to technical guidelines and style guides across diverse client content
