Complementing the hotel and casino are three bars and two restaurants including Fuel American Grill and Main + Abbey, a AAA Three Diamond rated restaurant. JOB SUMMARY

The Beverage Manager is responsible for overseeing the management and operational effectiveness of bars and other related beverage outlets within the property.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Responsible for the hiring, training, development, and supervision of beverage staff
  • Prepare Team Member schedules, organizes workloads and staff assignments as well as trains, motivates and evaluates beverage staff
  • Updates beverage menus and ensures all team members are properly trained on recipes
  • Develops long- and short-range financial objectives to liquor sales while maintaining budgeted labor and staffing levels
  • Manages department's financial data and related documents to maintain effective cost and portion controls in the department
  • Works alongside department management to review beverage activities and implement companywide and local sales promotions
  • Assists bartenders and beverage servers in general duties as needed (i.e., drink preparation)
  • Ensures guest satisfaction through constant interactions with guests and team members throughout the facility
  • Communicates to management in a timely fashion of any guest compliments or complaints
  • Maintains and enforces compliance with applicable health, safety, food handling, and hygiene codes and standards
  • Performs other related duties as assigned
REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Degree in relevant field preferred
  • Two years of progressive experience in high-volume food and beverage operations preferred
  • Must obtain valid gaming license, where applicable
