Job description

Lakeside Hotel Casino is seeking a knowledgeable and motivated Slot Technician Supervisor to lead our Slot Operations team. This position is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operation, maintenance, and performance of slot gaming devices and related systems while ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations and Company standards.

The ideal candidate will combine strong technical knowledge with leadership skills to support operational efficiency, maximize machine performance, and deliver exceptional guest service.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Supervise, direct, train, and support Slot Technicians
  • Ensure slot floor operations run efficiently in partnership with Gaming Operations leadership
  • Maintain compliance with all IRGC regulations, Internal Controls, and departmental procedures
  • Perform and oversee slot machine repairs, maintenance, overhauls, and modifications
  • Analyze slot machine performance to support profitability and efficient machine mix
  • Coordinate slot floor moves, new installations, and machine conversions
  • Load and maintain approved software on slot server systems
  • Process regulatory notices and game downloads as required
  • Order slot-related parts and manage inventory needs
  • Assist Revenue Audit in resolving slot financial discrepancies
  • Maintain positive working relationships across departments and with vendors
  • Ensure department appearance, grooming, attendance, and safety standards are met
  • Deliver professional and proactive guest service at all times

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Basic electronic training and/or related slot technician experience required
  • Prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and basic computer systems required
  • Experience with CAD software and slot floor layouts preferred
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain an Iowa Racing and Gaming Commission gaming license
  • Valid driver’s license required
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English
  • Ability to work flexible schedules, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays as business needs require
  • Ability to lead in a fast-paced gaming environment while maintaining compliance and operational standards
