Job description

The Slot Technician is responsible for maintaining and repairing all electronic slot equipment in a timely and efficient manner. This position is also responsible for installing, moving, removing, and repairing slot machines and all related equipment including signage, within the guidelines of IRGC and company policies and procedures.

Essential Functions

  • Adjust and repair machines, using hand tools to replace worn of defective electrical or mechanical parts.
  • Examine defective machines to determine causes of malfunctions.
  • Conduct daily inspections of machines and equipment.
  • Conduct general maintenance on all machines and equipment.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to all patrons and communicate in a pleasant, friendly, and professional manner at all times.
  • Maintain a professional work environment with supervisors and staff.
  • Comply with all IRGC and company rules and regulations in repairing or programming equipment.
  • Effectively present information to top management in a clear and concise manner.

Required

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Some slot experience preferred but not required.
  • Prior customer service experience.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in reading and writing.
  • Must be able to work with hand tools and learn to use other related equipment.
  • Must be able to stand/walk/sit for long periods of time.
  • Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
  • Maintain courteous and effective working relationships with others.
